Forklift /Machine Operator

Programmed are currently seeking an experienced Forklift operator/Machine operator for our client in Dandenong. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join one of Australia’s most successful companies who continues to provide a sustainable waste management solution.



Located in Dandenong

Initially 8am – 4pm but then will be required to be flexible to start 6am (2pm finish) or start at 10am (6pm finish)

Responsibilities

• Forklift driving - counterbalance
• Storing and maintaining stock / inventory
• Loading and unloading
• Machine operating
• Preparation of orders, pick packing, and dispatching
• Maintain tidy work areas / ensure equipment is safe and any maintenance is identified and reported immediatel
• Required to lift to 25kg at times

About you

• Previous experience in a DG / Chemical manufacturing environment - beneficial
• Strong computer and administration skills
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills as you will need to follow SOPs
• Current LF forklift license
• High safety standards and attention to detail - DG sites
• Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg as required
• Must have own hi-vis clothing and steel cap safety boots
• Police check and medical, that incorporates a drug and alcohol screen - will be conducted on offer of role
